In the FLORIAN system, a Structure represents a physical object, like a building, on the Map View. The height of the building can be set for better context and accuracy during an incident. You can only create structures in an active incident. However, structures will be saved to be useable across other incidents.
Example of a structure within FLORIAN:
To create a structure in FLORIAN do the following:
- At the bottom of the map viewer, press the Tool Bar to open the Annotations panel. With the Annotations panel open, press the Structure button.
- Give your structure a name, set its color and height.
- By pressing points on the map, draw your structure and press the Save button when finished.
